The Butterfly tour kicked off at the Mariah-friendly Tokyo Dome, just like the Daydream Tour. It continued to Taiwan and a series of shows in Australia before it ended in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Hawaii concert was supposed to be the first date of the USA leg, the second leg of the tour never happened due to the filming of "Double-0-Soul" with Chris Tucker, a movie that never saw the light of the day.
A DVD called "Around The World" was released with footage from almost all of the shows, mainly the one in Hawaii. The whole Tokyo Concert was shown on Japanese television as a TV special.
